Christopher is a Chicano playwright, producer, educator, and general theatre-maker based in Los Angeles & born/raised in the San Gabriel Valley. Their work explores belonging, identity, community, and the stories that exist beyond the center of the frame.

Growing up, Christopher was fascinated by the characters who lived at the edges of stories and the people who appeared briefly on screen/stage, but whose lives continued beyond what the audience was shown. That curiosity remains at the heart of their work. They write to explore questions they haven't yet answered, using fictional worlds to examine perspective, connection, anxiety, power, hope, and what it means to feel seen.

Their identity informs the way they see the world, while genre remains their playground. Their writing moves between comedy, drama, horror, fantasy, musicals, and other forms, choosing the genre that best serves the question at hand.

As a theatre artist, Christopher has developed work with Theatre of NOTE, Whitefire Theatre, Cal State LA, California State University, Long Beach, and other Southern California theatre communities. Their broader theatre practice includes directing, producing, production coordination, and stage management, with professional experience at Center Theatre Group and Pasadena Playhouse.

Ultimately, Christopher writes to create connection: to help someone recognize themselves, become curious about someone else's experience, and leave with the feeling that they are a little less alone.
